Biography

Dr Stimitha Alla is the Director and Founder of Sri Kota Saidaiah Nethralayam. A highly reputed ophthalmic surgeon in Palnadu region.

Qualificatiom

After completing MBBS from Government Medical college, Anantapur .She pursued post-graduation in ophthalmology from shekar Eye Hospital, Bangalore after qualifying in first class in her post-graduation she has done her fellowship in cataract and phacoemulsification at prestigious Sankara Eye hospital, Pedakakani which is ranked among the top 10 hospital for ophthalmology in India. She has further honed her skills by specializing in Pediatric ophthalmology and squint at Sankara Eye Hospital.

Experiences

She has been serving in ophthalmology over 10 years and has performed 10,000 plus operations at a very young age. She has several publications to her credit and has presented at various state conferences all over India. She has participated in various eye competitions and outreach programs to spread awareness regarding eye donation. She was awarded for performing the highest number of surgeries in Sankara eye hospital for two consecutive years.she has also been felicitated by Rotary club Macherla for her exemplary services in providing quality eye care to people of Palnadu. She is the first to perform Toric and Multifocal IOL surgeries in town of Macherla
